3 Modes of Operation
Integrated Mode: This combines pre and power amp stages to power digital and analog sources to a pair of speakers.
Pre-Power Mode: This disconnects the pre and power amp stages, turning the 9000A into a power amp for use with an external AV processor. You can also use this mode for additional signal processing, returning the processed audio to the 9000A’s power amp input to take advantage of the 100W per channel performance.
Pre Mode: This disables the power amp stage, turning the 9000A into a standalone preamp that can be joined with an external power amplifier.
Full-Color Display
Built into the face of the 9000A is a 4.3″ full-color IPS LCD screen, which provides detailed information and convenient access to internal settings. View playback, source, and file information, and adjust menu options and tweak user-defined settings. Multiple default displays are included, such as two different types of VU meters.
Hi-Res Audio Support
A wide variety of hi-res audio formats are supported by the 9000A amplifier. PCM audio is supported up to 32-bit/768 kHz, DSD to 22.5 MHz (DSD512), as well as FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, and WAV. Conveniently, compressed and lossy legacy formats can also be played through the 9000A.
One additional hi-res format is MQA, which is made to stream content as the creator intended. The 9000A offers a custom-engineered MQA-certified DAC solution, which can complete the full “three unfold” MQA decoding process internally, which is ideal for subscribers of MQA content, such as Tidal’s HiFi Plus tier.
